You can forward your Lehigh email to Lehigh's Gmail domain -- however this does not move your existing mail, contacts, etc. LTS can migrate your mail to Lehigh Gmail -- to do this, contact the LTS Help Desk. If you just want to forward future mail, you can do it by taking these steps:
- Go to www.lehigh.edu/account and choose manage my email account.
- Log in.
- Click on mail forwarding.
- Follow the steps to forward your mail -- enter email@example.com (replace yourusername with your four- or six-character user id, e.g., sek2 or abc312. If you would like to read your mail in both your Lehigh account and Lehigh Gmail, enter both your regular email address and the gmail address (above). Note that you will need to manage your Lehigh email account, deleting messages as necessary, to avoid going over quota and interrupting your email access.
- When you are doing entering this info, click the button below the instructions.
Note: Once you have started forwarding your mail to gmail, you will want to do all forwarding and vacation mail management via your gmail account.
