If you cannot find a book or item in the Libraries and the ASA catalog shows that we have it, here are some steps to take:
- Check ASA to make sure the item is not checked out, and double check the location/call number to make sure you are looking in the right place (ask at the LTS Help Desk if you are uncertain how to interpret the catalog record).
- Ask the circulation desk to check for the missing item.
- If the item is a book, you might be able to obtain it through one of several interlibrary loan services. For more information, go to the ILL page.
You can likely save time and make the best choice by consulting the LTS Help Desk or circulation staff. Ask at the LTS Help Desk or circulation desk in the Library.
